About the Role

This Accounts Payable Lead plays a critical role in stabilizing and strengthening global vendor payment operations across a complex international environment. Support the Accounts Payable team during an 8-week cleanup and system transition by updating vendor master data, standardizing bank details, enabling global payments, managing the AP inbox, preparing for a PO system rollout, and improving AP workflows in MYOB Acumatica and Traild.

Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of experience leading or supervising an Accounts Payable team
  • Strong knowledge of vendor onboarding, verification, and global payment processes
  • Experience handling international banking information including BSB, SWIFT, and IBAN
  • Exposure to Purchase Order (PO) system implementation or rollout initiatives
  • Experience with MYOB Acumatica and/or AP automation platforms
  • High level of accuracy when handling banking and payment information

Responsibilities

  • Perform vendor master clean-up and deactivate vendors with no activity for more than 24 months with no balances or open purchase orders
  • Ensure all vendors across Australia and international regions have complete banking details and verified payment information
  • Correct vendor currencies and standardize payment methods to ABA for Australian vendors and INTLPAY for international vendors
  • Update vendor records as part of the Citibank banking migration initiative
  • Assign correct paying bank accounts by currency including CITI-AUD, CITI-USD, CITI-EUR, CITI-GBP, and CITI-USD for other currencies
  • Validate international payment details including SWIFT/BIC, IBAN where applicable, account number, currency, and beneficiary address
  • Support groundwork for Purchase Order system implementation including gap documentation and approval flow mapping
  • Assist in developing vendor onboarding requirements and departmental adoption for the PO process
  • Contribute to drafting PO policies, workflow rules, and training materials for internal teams
  • Refine Traild automation rules including invoice coding, routing, and exception handling
  • Flag invoices requiring vendor updates or missing payment information
  • Manage daily triage and organization of the accounts inbox
  • Ensure all invoices received through the accounts inbox are properly imported into Traild
